Privacy Notice Under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698
At Silver Inn Hotel & SPA, we respect and value the privacy of your personal life. For this reason, we would like to inform you about your rights regarding the use and protection of your personal data under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as “KVKK”).
a) Data Controller
As Silver Inn Hotel & SPA (hereinafter referred to as “Silver Inn”), we hereby inform you that we process your personal data in our capacity as a data controller and other relevant legislation.
b) Processed Personal Data
In accordance with the KVKK and other relevant legislation, the categories and descriptions of personal data to be processed within the scope of the purposes and legal grounds specified in this Information Notice under the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data are as follows:
Identity Information: First name and last name, place and date of birth, nationality, Turkish ID number, first name and last name of accompanying guest, place and date of birth
Contact Information: Address, phone number, email address
Financial Information: Bank account information
Other: Room number, vehicle license plate information,Â
c) Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data will be processed
To carry out processes related to accommodation services,
To be recorded in the online software systems used by Silver Inn to implement its sales and marketing policies,
to enable our departments to carry out the necessary work to provide you with the products and services offered by Silver Inn,
To measure and enhance customer satisfaction,
Collecting and evaluating any complaints and suggestions regarding Silver Inn’s products and services,
Recommending Silver Inn’s products and services to you; planning and/or conducting market research activities for the sales and marketing of such products and services,
Ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial security of relevant individuals with whom we have a business relationship,
Monitoring and conducting legal affairs,
Conducting financial and/or accounting operations,
for the purposes specified in Article 5(2) of the KVKK: “a) Explicitly provided for by law,” “c) Processing of personal data belonging to the parties to a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract,” “ç) It is necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation,” “e) Processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right.”
Your personal data will be processed with your explicit consent, in accordance with the legal grounds specified in the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the Electronic Commerce Law, for the purpose of informing you about campaigns and updates regarding Silver Inn services.
d) To Whom and For What Purpose Processed Personal Data May Be Disclosed
Your personal data will be transferred without requiring the data subject’s explicit consent, in accordance with Article 8(2)(a) of the KVKK, for the purposes specified below:
It will be shared with the General Directorate of Security to fulfill legal obligations arising from relevant legislation.
It may be shared with notaries, enforcement offices, and/or courts, if necessary, for the purpose of conducting financial and/or accounting operations related to the collection of fees for products and services.
To fulfill legal obligations under applicable legislation, data may be shared with relevant public institutions and organizations if necessary or upon request.
To facilitate the return of items left behind or forgotten at the hotel, such information may be shared with our contracted shipping company.
To facilitate the monitoring of legal proceedings, such information may be shared with our attorneys to the extent necessary, subject to the duty of confidentiality.
e) Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data is collected through automated or non-automated methods, verbally, in writing, or electronically, based on the legal grounds specified in Articles 5(2) and 6(2) of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), to fulfill the purposes outlined in paragraph (c) of this text:
Filling out a form by the data subject, sending an email, contacting via phone call, visiting the website, and contacting through social media platforms.
Sharing business cards during visits to online sales platforms, travel agencies, event management companies, trade shows, or seminars, or through partner organizations or institutions.
f) Retention Period for Personal Data
Silver Inn deletes, destroys, or anonymizes personal data once the purpose of processing no longer applies or upon the expiration of mandatory retention periods established by laws and relevant regulations.
h) Changes and Updates
This privacy notice has been prepared in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and relevant legislation. Necessary changes may be made to this privacy notice in line with changes in relevant legal regulations and/or Silver Inn’s personal data processing purposes and policies.
